This summer we are once again opening the zoo gates after hours for the return of our annual Zoo Do!
Giving you more opportunity to see your favourite animals, listen to our fantastic animal talks, see all the amazing enrichment our animals receive, and most importantly help raise vital funds for four fantastic animal charities. On the 19th August 2023 we will be holding our Zoo Do! event from 6pm – 8.30pm. Here at the project, we are proud supporters of four conservation organisations;
VulPro
Supporting rescue, rehabilitation, rerelease and breeding of vultures in Africa.
AEECL
A Madagascan based charity promoting research, protection and restoring of the vital ecosystems that lemurs inhabit, collaborating with local communities and authorities to achieve a sustainable and biodiverse habitat for the future.
Bumblebee Conservation Trust
Enhancing the understanding of bumblebee ecology and conservation. Increasing the quality and quantity of bumblebee habitat. Inspiring and enabling a diverse range of people to take action for bumblebees.
