This experience is only available for adults and children over the age of 10 years old, however children aged between 10 and 15 years old must be accompanied by a spectating parent or guardian. Please note that the spectating guest will not enter the animal habitat and will be required to pay their zoo entrance fee to gain admission. This experience lasts for approximately 30 minutes.

Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including those with relevant phobias, known allergies, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals. Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved, and it is advised that you contact us for advice prior to purchasing an experience or voucher.

Armadillo Experience

Our Armadillo Experience allows you to get up close and personal with Patsy our Six-Banded Armadillo.  You’ll be granted exclusive access into her enclosure where you’ll learn all about the Armadillo and will be feeding Patsy part of her daily food allowance. Your Armadillo Experience will include:

  • Go behind the scenes into Patsy’s enclosure.
  • The unforgettable experience of meeting our Armadillo up close within her enclosure.
